Outfit For Less: Touris Outfit No.1

I call this outfit, Tourist Outfit No.1 because when me and my brother was walking down the street to go eat somewhere, a guy that passed by us told me that my outfit is nice and that I am wearing a Tourist Attire. That's what the guy said. So, I call this that. Let's go to how much I spent on this outfit.

Fendora Straw Hat: I got this a year ago from Old Navy for $10

Casio Blue Digital Watch: I got this watch a year ago from Target for $20

Light Brown Rosary Necklace: I got it from a cheap accessories store from Downtown San Diego for $1

Leopard Print Sunglasses: I got this from Cotton On for 2 for $10 (I will show the other one on my future blogs

Colorful Digital Skull Printed Tee: I got this at a Cotton On Outlet for $5

Cropped Shorts: This is my own creation from a year ago. $0

Make Your Own: Crop Shorts

Why spend almost $20 or even $35 for a pair of cropped shorts if you can Make Your Own? It makes sense if you are buying them for the logo. But nowadays, logos are just 25% of what people are wearing. There is this new Guessing Game that people, especially those who knows fashion or just a bunch of trend-setters like me, are looking for. They're not gonna come onto you and look for the logo of your shorts. I have some very very old jeans that I don't use anymore. And was thinking what to do with it. I cut them a year ago and started using them. Everyone who saw it liked it and ask me where I got them. I am so proud to tell them, "I made them myself." There's this feeling inside me of accomplishment and pretty proud that I made something purtee (preety). Then suddenly, a year later, meaning 2 months ago, I saw cropped shorts being sold at Old Navy. I was shocked because a year ago, I was wearing it and suddenly, they started selling it. I don't really care or such. But let's go to the main point. You can make your own cropped shorts. All you need is a pair of jeans and scissors. Cut it to your desired length and BOOM! Your very own cropped jeans!

Summer's Top Sunglasses

Eyes are one of the most important part of ones body. It is one of the things that you really need to put work and invest on. So if you are looking for a pair of sunglasses to use and you will be able to use for the whole year and many more years to come, I would really recommend buying the branded ones. Here are the top sunglasses this first half of 2012 according to details.com.

1. Ray-Ban

2. Oliver Peoples

3. Gucci

4. Louis Vuitton

These are just some of the new and on the top branded sunglasses in the market today. At the same time, if you wanna buy the same style or replica of glasses, there are other clothing stores or just stores itself that can give you the "almost-the-same" kind of sunglasses like Cotton On, H&M, American Eagle and many more. But as what I said, if you are looking for sunglasses that will really protect your eyes from the sun, go buy these branded shades.

I would really recommend going to shopping outlets to buy sunglasses because of two (2) main reasons: first, there are a lot of choices to choose from, and second, it is way cheaper than buying in the mall. There are a lot of nice sunglasses at Oakley too. I am actually saving up to buy one for myself. When I buy it, I will surely post a picture of it here.

Summer Essentials

It's not only fashion that you need look out for. But you also need to take care of your body, inside and out because you are the one that will complete the over all look of whatever the outfit you wanna pull off. This Summer, you need to have these main products to complete whatever you are wearing.

L'Oreal Sublime Advance Sunscreen SPF 50+
First of all, you need to know that it is Summer and second, is that your skin is not as strong as you know. You think you can stay under the sun for a long period of time without sunscreen? Nah-uh. You are just walking closer and closer in having skin cancer. Most light-skinned people are prone to have skin cancer because of the small amount of melanin. Most dark-skinned people are less prone because of a huge amount of melanin. Small or big amount of melanin, you still need to protect your skin. The higher the SPF, the better. I chose this kind of sunscreen because it is the top on most blogs that I went to. At the same time, it is cheap. And the last priority of this is that it is a spray sunscreen. No need to spread the lotion-like material onto your skin. Just take it out and spray it. It's as easy as 1-2-3. (Target $7.99)

Leopard-Printed Sunglasses
You don't really need to buy this kind of sunglasses but I chose this one because I still have the one that I have and I still have it and it's still pretty awesome. It's a Ray-Ban like sunglasses but it's the cheaper cheaper version of it. It's just a replica of it. It's made for swagging. But mine lasted a year already and I am still liking it. You can pair it to anything. The main point of having a pair of sunglasses is to protect your eyes from too much exposure from the sun. But I would really recommend going to some stores like Oakley or Ray-Ban to buy some fancy sunglasses if you want a long term kind of sunglasses. But if you want a pair for swaggin', these pair is for you. (H&M $5.95)

Fedora Straw Hat
If you see some guys wearing some straw hats walking around around March or April, it means Summer is coming up. And I believe that a Straw Hat is one of the items that represents Summer. I bought one a year ago and I am using it again this year. You can pair it to any kind of outfit and everything will look good. (H&M $9.95)

 Water
The last but the most important thing that you can't forget is water. Summer is a very hot weather and you need to rehydrate as often as possible. Coz if not, you will be dehydrated and pretty much pass out. And less water in your system means drier skin and you don't want that to happen so rehydrate as often as possible.

Men's "Must Have" This Summer

Every men should have a pair or two of these shorts. One pair will do because you will be able to pair it to any kind of shirt or tank top or any kind of tops out there. Wearing shorts is a "must" on the Summer. You will wear shorts until the summer ends or even wear til early Fall. It will also look good on any kind of footwear whether flip-flops or low-cut, high-cut shoes or even just simple walking shoes and will even more eye-catching for fashion-lovers if you wear it with boat shoes.

You can buy any kind of khaki shorts anywhere at any price. But I would really recommend buying this pair of khaki shorts at Hollister Stores or hollisterco.com. Khaki is not the only color that they have but this a common color that will fit any kind and any color of tops there is possible.

The color might be different from the desktop version and on the iPad version. I don't know why but it is. I even compared them. But at the end of this discussion, it is still a pretty awesome and a legit pair of shorts.

Hollister Bay Shorts - $17.25 + 25% off your whole purchase (05-27-2012)

Everyday Carry

Here is what I always bring at work or anywhere I go. Maybe in pockets or in my bag. These are pretty much the things that I can't live without besides food. Here's the items and why I need them.

Wallet: You can't roam around without your wallet. Of course, inside is your cash, creditcards and especially, your IDs. Cash, because sometimes, you will run to a store or just simply buy something that will only worth around $3 or less and you don't want to put that on your debit or credit card. You know what I mean.

Sunglasses: Because sun is pretty harsh sometimes.

Pen: Cashiers don't have pens in front of them and takes forever to look for one. And I know how it feels like waiting in line for a very long time.

Phone: It's my connection to anyone especially because my Maps are here and the social network is here (Instagram,Facebook,Emails & more).

Keys: Simple reason. Every time I go home, I always knock on the door while everyone is taking a nap or so focused on watching TV. And nobody want to open the door. Learned my lesson.

Rosary:  I feel safe and I know that Jesus is always with me.

Watch: It makes my arm looks better and I think that men and/or women who wear watches knows that "time is precious".
